Beach Time

Cefalù has the most beautiful beach in Sicily (maybe we’re biased). There is a long stretch of beach called "Lungo Mare” or “The Strand” filled with umbrellas and beach chairs you can rent for a day. We’ve designated Angeli Del Mare as the go-to beach club for our guests so head here and you’re most likely to find us. Bring a towel and cash for the chairs and the bar.

Santa Anastasia Winery

If you plan to be in town for a few days before or after the wedding, consider venturing up to the mountains to a beautiful winery called Santa Anastasia. Here you can find some of the best biodynamic and organic wines, tour the grounds and eat some delicious food. You’ll need to book a separate taxi to bring you to and from the winery, which is about 30 minutes away.

If you’re up for an adventure, make your way to the town of Toarmina, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Sicily, located about two and a half hours away from Cefalù. This gorgeous coastal, hill-top city that sits near Mount Etna is best known for its views and historic Teatro Antico di Taormina, an ancient Greco-Roman theater still used today.
